Celebrating a new remix of Cash by Nils Hoffman!

Nils is a brilliant musician, producer, author, and educator based in Hamburg. He and I got to know each other beginning back in 2009 through a shared love of music and the exchange of many ideas. Inspired by The Octamasher, Nils even designed and built his own jambox for public installation. We eventually got to meet in Germany, where he was kind enough to have me stay with him while I attended the Chaos Computer Conference and we became good friends. When I reached out more recently to Nils, asking him to remix one of my songs, he found inspiration in my song “Cash” and created this beautiful remix. The song is about valuing human connection far above and beyond anything else. It’s an excellent companion to the musical and personal connection between Nils and I, from 2009 through to the present. It’s not about fame, money, or followers. It’s about spreading hope, and supporting each other to fight the good fight. We hope you connect with it too.
